You’ll now see clearer system status indicators, a new colour scheme, and updated event information at a glance, helping you quickly understand what’s happening at your property.

There has been a reorganisation of key functions such as Area selection, SOS buttons, and event logs to make them easier to access and use.

FAQs: What IPS Clients Need to Know
Do I need to log in again after updating?
Yes. Texecom requires all users to re-enter their login details due to the security improvements in the new version.
If you’ve forgotten your password, the “Forgotten password” button lets you reset it quickly.
How Do I Enable Biometrics (Face ID / Touch ID)?
The app now asks for permission to enable biometrics after major updates.
To activate it: Menu > Manage Users > Panel Users > Select the User > Use Biometric
This only needs to be done once.
Have the Emergency Buttons Changed?
The Panic, Fire and Medical buttons now sit clearly on the home screen, keeping them quick and easy to access.
How Do I Switch Between Areas?
Area selection no longer requires swiping. You’ll now find all Areas listed in the top-left corner, a significant improvement for clients with multiple zones
Why is my system status not showing correctly?
A simple app restart fixes most display issues. If the system still doesn’t update, it may be out of sync with the panel.
To manually re-sync: Menu > Sync Panel
